1. The Short Version
BADSCAN ("the App") applies print-style filters — photocopy, riso, newsprint, thermal, fax, cyanotype — to your photos and videos. Everything happens on your device. The App has no server, no account, no analytics, and collects no personal data.
2. Camera and Photo Library
Camera. The App uses your camera only to show live filter previews and to capture photos when you press the shutter. Frames are processed on-device in real time and are never transmitted anywhere.
Photo library. If you import a photo or video, it is read from your library, processed on-device, and the result is saved back only when you tap Save. The App requests add-only access for saving.
3. What We Collect
Nothing. The App does not collect, store on servers, share, or sell any personal information. There are no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Your images and videos never leave your device through the App.
4. Data Stored on Your Device
Your preferences (chosen preset, copy counter, onboarding state) are stored locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the App.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions (BADSCAN Pro) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is no messaging, no social features and no user-generated content leaving the device.
7. Changes to This Policy
If the App ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated first and the revision date above will change.
