Short version: ChessMate does not collect any personal data. No account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics, no network requests for gameplay.

What stays on your device

Your progress (levels cleared, stars, XP, streak, chosen board and sound setting) is stored only on your iPhone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.

Puzzles

Every puzzle is generated on your device by the app's own engine. No positions are downloaded.

Purchases

The one-time purchase “Unlock All Worlds” is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, Apple ID or name. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active on this device.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
