By using Matriq ("the App") you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Matriq gives an IQ-style estimate for practice and entertainment. It is not a clinical assessment.
The number is produced by the App's own scoring model from the tasks the App itself generated, and it is shown as a range rather than a single exact value on purpose. It is calibrated on this app's own model — not on a human standardization sample.
Accordingly, the score must not be used:
The App does not claim to increase intelligence. It is a practice and entertainment product.
Matriq Pro is a single one-time purchase — there is no subscription and nothing renews. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Pro unlocks the explanation for every task, the full scale, unlimited practice and attempt history. The full 20-task test, your score, the confidence range and your facet profile are free and stay free.
Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any of your devices: Settings → Restore Purchases inside the App. Because Apple handles purchases, refunds are requested from Apple, not from us.
Every task is generated by an algorithm on your device, so no two attempts are identical. Tasks are validated for a single correct answer, but if you ever meet an ambiguous or broken one, use "Report this question" and we will fix the generator.
Do not decompile, modify or redistribute the App, and do not attempt to bypass the purchase. The App and its content remain the property of the developer.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any decision taken on the basis of a score, profile or explanation shown by the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App.
