Common questions

How do I breathe with it? Pick a pattern and a length on the home screen, tap Begin, and follow the wisp — it grows as you breathe in, holds, and softens as you breathe out.

Can I use it with my eyes closed? Yes — that is the point. Turn on Haptic pacing in Settings and the phone gently swells on the in-breath, taps at the turn, and fades on the out.

I don't feel the haptics. Check that Haptic pacing is on in Settings, that your phone is not in silent-with-vibrate-off, and that System Haptics is enabled in iOS Settings → Sounds & Haptics.

What are the numbers, like 4-7-8? They are the seconds of each phase — breathe in for four, hold for seven, out for eight. Box is an even 4-4-4-4.

Can I make my own rhythm? Yes, with Wisp Pro you can set a custom pattern of your own.

I bought Pro and changed phone. Settings → Restore purchase. It asks Apple for your purchase history under the same Apple ID.

Are there adverts or a subscription? Neither. Breathing is free with no ads, and Pro is a single one-time purchase — never a monthly bill.

A note on health

Wisp is a breathing timer for relaxation, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat anything. If you feel light-headed, stop and breathe normally, and speak with a professional about any health concern.

Wisp works with no internet connection at all. Closing and reopening the app never loses your history.
